My travelling show, America's Outback, goes next to St Mary's Art Center in Virginia City. It goes up early January, 2012, with a reception in March!  This show had rave reviews at the Maturango Museum in Ridgecrest , CA in 2011 and at the Nevada Historical Society in Reno in 2010. I'm always looking for venues for this show, and I always give an entertaining "road trip" talk.  Video of same soon to be posted on FB and here.
Erik Holland's paintings are on display at the Reno Artist Co-op and at Ryrie's Art and Home in Reno!

We just had our fifth annual Winnemucca Ranch show at the Hobson Gallery in Reno!
One half of proceeds benefits Voters for Sensible Growth—25 percent went to the gallery and 25 percent went to VSG!
Why:  The powers that be seem determined to build a new city at the ranch, 30 miles north of Reno, and have Reno annex the area. This is leapfrog sprawl. This year we will also featured other threatened areas of Northern Nevada, such as the Mt. Rose Scenic Corridor annd Washoe Valley!

I'll be teaching adult plein-air painting all year at Very Special Arts in the historic  Lake Mansion in Reno.  Contact us at 826-6100.  I will also teach an adult pen and ink class through TMCC Saturdays starting 1/24/12  You can register by calling 829-9010 or online at http://wdce.tmcc.edu.

I am also represented by Ryrie's Art and Home in Reno
