Watch for our third annual Winnemucca Ranch and other threatened places show this October 2009 at Patagonia!
One half of proceeds benefits Voters for Sensible Growth—other half goes to the artists.

Why:  The powers that be seem determined to build a new city at the ranch, 30 miles north of Reno, and have Reno annex the area. This is leapfrog sprawl. This year we will also feature other threatened areas of Northern Nevada, such as the Mt. Rose Scenic Corridor.

Who:  Many local and regional artists will take part including Brian Amme, Shawna Baker, Mike Callahan, Mark Hammond, Erik Holland, Karen Kreyeski, Jean LeGassick,  Amy-Louise Mazza, Craig Mitchell, Pat Wallis and Patti Woodard.

I'll be teaching adult plein-air painting all year at Very Special Arts in the historic  Lake Mansion in Reno.  Contact us at 826-6100.  I will also teach an adult plein-air class through TMCC Thursdays 6/18 through 7/16.  You can register by calling 829-9010 or online at http://wdce.tmcc.edu.

My work can also be seen at the Truckee River Gallery in downtown Reno, Vigil's Collection in downtown Nevada City, CA and at Artistic Viewpoints in Minden.
