Erik Holland has lived in downtown Reno since 2000.
He is a working landscape artist, represented in several galleries here and in California. He holds a degree in
history from San Francisco State, and has served as chair of the Toiyabe Chapter of the Sierra Club. Holland won a Pine
Cone award in 2013 for his work preventing Reno from leapfrogging to Winnemucca Ranch.
Holland has taught art at Rainshadow Charter High School since 2003, and also teaches art through the Nevada
Museum of Art, Very Special Arts at the Lake Mansion,and through the Boys and Girls Club.
